The Presidential Campaign Has Been Anything But Boring

The Presidential Campaign Has Been Anything But Boring, And At Moments Has Had Me On The Edge Of My Seat!

Wow, what a ride this has been so far. As just your regular ol’ American who loves his country, I’ve been closely watching each of the candidates and sizing them up. Like a lot of American’s I have an idea of what I’m looking for and what “isn’t acceptable” to me.  And yes, I have my favorites. Before I get too far into this article, let me share what I’m looking for and what I won’t accept.

What I’m Looking For

You have to remember, I got consumed with Politics because of everything Obama has been doing to destroy America. Bluntly, it has really pissed me off!

So initially, I wanted the opposite of Obama. I wanted …

  • someone who 100% would follow the constitution,
  • someone who was 100% against immigration,
  • someone who would send all of the muslim refugees back to Syria,
  • someone who is a Christian and would restore our religious freedoms and rights, and who would bring God back to the front since that’s what this great nation was founded under,
  • someone who would take care of our vets who have shed their blood so we could be free,
  • someone who respected the values and character of America,
  • someone who put American’s first ahead of all others (it’s shameful that immigrants have more rights and are better taken care of than American’s and vets),
  • someone who understood the importance of the small business and would do things to help them grow and prosper,
  • someone who respected the Bill of Rights and our Constitution like our 2nd Amendment to bare arms (I love my guns, and I feel safer knowing there are people around me who have concealed guns should there be a terrorist or mass murderer around),
  • someone who would rescind every unconstitutional executive order and every executive order that took some of our freedom away, or created regulations that made it harder to run a business or do something we use to be able to do (like the power grab with the EPA and BLM),
  • someone who LOVES America us much as I do, and who loves our traditions like “Merry Christmas” and the “Pledge of Allegiance” and who respects our old glory our Flag,
  • someone who will respect our men and women in blue and give them the authority to do their job and stand behind them when groups like the “Black Lives Matter” movement tries to manipulate them to not do their job,
  • someone who will respect our military and hold them in high regard for the job they’re doing to protect all of us and this great nation,
  • someone who will build our military back up to its glory and back to being a world power,
  • someone who will NOT allow the United Nations to have any say or control of the USA,
  • someone who will get our economy back in place …
  • someone who hates the IRS as much as the rest of us and will abolish them, or at minimum, dramatically simplify the tax code so anyone can do their own taxes and who will drop our taxes like a rock (it’s asinine that businesses pay the highest taxes in the world … no wonder businesses are going to other countries and can’t pay their employees very well),
  • someone who will run this country like a business and get our expenses way down and who will balance our budget,
  • someone who can change the entitlement program from a “hand out” program to a “hand up” program … I get that things happen to good people and they may need some help at different times in their life, but people are living off entitlements and they have no motivation to even try to better themselves or get a job. What’s stopping people from looking for a job? Daycare for single moms would be a start. Let’s quit giving hand outs and start helping people get back on their feet!
  • NO MORE TAX DOLLARS GOING TO ILLEGAL ALIENS! We never asked for them and we do not want to support them.
  • someone who will shred ObamaCare and it’s 29 additional taxes. The concept was insurance for everyone including those who can’t afford health insurance. Now the working class people can’t even afford the premiums they’ve gone so high, and then they’re fined when they don’t purchase it because they can’t even afford it… how much sense does this make?
  • someone who will shred that terrible Iran deal, and that terrible TPP deal where we lose our sovereignty for starters.
  • someone who has ethics, morals and will NOT lie to us Americans.

And the list goes on and on. Like I said, someone who’s the opposite of Obama.

I know, what a list, right?

Politician Versus Non-Politician

When the candidates started entering the field I immediately knew I did not want another Clinton or Bush. Been there, done that, not interested in a repeat.

In addition to this, for this election we’ve been blessed to have 3 non-politicians in the race, and all 3 of them are great choices.

I have said for years that the government should be ran like a business. If it had been we wouldn’t be having the debt problems we’re having, and we wouldn’t have the waste in our spending.

A business has priorities… The clients (American people), decreases expenses, making a profit, fair competition and more. I think we can all agree that the government is extremely wasteful with the money they manage.

And a huge difference here is business owners make things happen, they’re doers where politicians are talkers and seldomly get anything done.

It’s for these reasons and many others that I’ve been very interested in Donald Trump and Carly Fiorina.

America has given politicians the chance to take care of America and the American people for many years, and look where we’re at now.

What Was Initially So Important To Me Has Been Modified Today

I’ve concluded that no one candidate would stand for everything I stand for. Whether it’s because I’m unrealistic, or maybe even ignorant, there is no one candidate that fits the ideal mold of what I was looking for.

This forced me to re-evaluate what was ultimately important to me. I kind of had no choice since none of the candidates fit exactly what I was looking for. And, like usual, each have strengths that I admire, and some stand for things I absolute will not tolerate.

What’s “Not Acceptable” To Me

After reading about my passion against TPA/TPP, let me be very clear, I will never support or endorse a politician who puts big businesses ahead of “We The People”, or who puts non-American’s ahead of American’s. Two-Thirds of all jobs in this country are at small to medium sized businesses, not big multi-national companies so the emphasis must be on these small & medium sized businesses.

I own a nice sized business. By standards that the average American looks at, it’s a big business with over 100 employees, but it’s very small in comparison to the multi-national companies with thousands of employees.

Yes, I care about the taxes I pay the government which is way too much (highest in the world), and ObamaCare was a huge hit to us adding a huge financial burden on us. Then there’s the never ending regulations that nickel and dime us, and force us to jump through hoops. All of these things affect what we as a company can do for my employees.

Be very clear, I love my employees and look at them as a family. I pay them as well as I can. And yes, just so you know, I pay myself well too (not millions), but you also have to remember I invested over $2 million dollars into this business and I spent 6 years building it before I made a dime.

Okay, I got off track a bit. Let me tell you what “deal stoppers” are to me:

  • Immigration is at the top of the list, starting with islam muslims.
    • I want the islam muslims refugees sent back! Like Carson & Trump has suggested, send them back and use our military and other countries military to offer them protection from ISIS and others who are attacking them. This will save us billions! And it will protect American citizens.
    • I want WALLS at our boarders, and a boarder management system that drops or stops illegal immigrants from coming into America.
    • I support Bill Riley’s “Kate Bill”.
    • Illegal immigrants currently in the country need to be sent home. If they want citizenship then they need to do it legally.
    • NO entitlement programs for illegal aliens
    • NO anchor babies. If neither parent is an American citizen and has a baby in America, that baby is NOT an American. This makes no sense at all. That baby would be a citizen of whatever country the parents are.
  • Our country is a mess. For over 20 years I’ve said the government should be ran like a business. Here’s why …
    • Businesses work off a budget.
    • Businesses fire incompetent people or people who break the law or do things that are hurtful to the company or the company’s clients.
    • Businesses know where EVERY penny is spent, and they make sure there isn’t frivolous spending. Every dollar is account for.
    • Businesses cut the fat every way they can to make the company more profitable.
    • Businesses always make sure deals are to the benefit of the company and will walk away from one sided deals.
    • Businesses look for the most efficient, effective and lowest cost way to get things done.

These are all my views as of today.
